Kamala Harris set to become “Trump Card” of Democrats

Vice President Kamala Harris is set to be a front runner from Democratic Party in upcoming Presidential Elections of the United States.

She got an overwhelming support from her party within 24 hours after Joe Biden chose not to contest. While I am writing this, 1,000 Democratic delegates, 16 Democratic governors, and a large number of senators and parliamentarians support her.  To qualify for candidature from Democratic party, she needs support of 2000 delegates out of total 4000.

“Mission 2000” – Delegate Started Before Chicago Convention

3,896 delegates of Democratic Party are free to choose their representative for Presidential Elections, after Biden’s exit. Kamala Harris has successfully collected electoral funds of USD 50 million in such a short time. The whole party leadership seems to be backing her now. This includes the top leaders of Democratic party who were known to be the prime contestants for the Presidential post:

  • The Governor of California, Gavin Newsom
  • The Governor of Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer
  • The Governor of Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro
  • The Governor of New Jersey, Philip D. Murphy
  • The Governor of Illinois, JB Pritzker
  • The Governor of New York, Kathy Hochul
  • The Secretary of Transportation, Pete Buttigieg

Ex-US President Barak Obama has not announced his support for Kamala Harris yet.

Last few days have change the whole course of US politics. The series of events started from an attempt to assassinate Donald Trump to a surprising news of Joe Biden’s exit from Presidential race.

Saturday : Attempt to assassinate Donald Trump.

Republican Candidate Donald Trump made a lucky escape in a shootout in his Pennsylvania campaign rally. A bullet, aimed for a headshot, just went away touching his ears. This lucky head tilt of Donald Trump has, perhaps saved the USA from a possible civil war. Stained with blood, the image of Trump waving his fist became an iconic photo, infusing enthusiasm among his supporters.

Monday: Republican National Convention

Donald Trump appeared with bandage on his ears. Called Ohio’s Senator J. D. Vance as his running mate.

Wednesday: Joe Biden infected with COVID-19

Joe Biden declared himself out of Presidential race after catching COVID-19 virus. In an interview, he said that he would reconsider his election candidature only after getting an advise from Doctors.

Thursday: Pelosi-Obama’s No-Confidence

Some media outlets spread news about Ex-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Barak Obama’s no-confidence on Biden. On the other hand, Trump affirmed his claim.

Friday: Biden refused to back off.

The count of Parliamentarians in favor of removal of Biden from election race increased up to 25. Although, Biden said he would not back off.

Saturday: Trump said, “I took a bullet for Democracy”

In his first election rally after the Pennsylvania attack, trump stated that he took a bullet for Democracy. Democrats don’t know who is their candidate.

Sunday: Joe Biden Exits

Joe Biden announced his exit from election race in a social media post on Sunday. He supported Vice President Kamala Harries are Party Candidate.
