Julian Assange released from Britain’s Jail after 5 years.

Washington. Founder of Wiki leaks, Julian Assange (52) is released from Britain’s Jail after 5 years for legal battle.

He is granted a bail by London High Court after an agreement with US.

Julian Assange was accused of stealing and disseminating confidential documents related to National Security.

Wikileaks wrote on X :

“Julian Assange is free. He left Belmarsh maximum security prison on the morning of 24 June, after having spent 1901 days there. He was granted bail by the High Court in London and was released at Stansted airport during the afternoon, where he boarded a plane and departed the UK.”

As per Wiki Leaks, the credit of his release goes to Leaders who pursued his case in the United Nations. Yet, the conditions of his release and terms of US agreement hasn’t been disclosed.

Biden Administration Under Pressure On Julian’s Case

US Government had accused Julian of disseminating files related to Iraq and Afghanistan. That made many lives vulnerable. Biden Administration was under pressure to resolve the matter.

President Biden had mentioned in April that Australia requested him to close the case.

Many Leaders of the Democratic Party of USA had supported Assange saying his arrest was unjust and it violated the freedom of expression.

Wiki Leads said that Julian Assange spent 5 years in 2×3 metres prison cell. He was arrested in 2019 by British police after he left Ecuadorian embassy.

He will finally meet his wife, Stella Assange and kids.
