Retaliation to the Dragon. Modi government plan to rename 30+ Regions of Tibet.
New Delhi. Prime minister Narendra Modi plans to go aggressive with China in his 3rd term. The indication came after Narendra Modi echoed the congratulatory message of Taiwanese President Lai Ching-te with warmth a and enthusiasm and assured the latter about closer relationship between India and Taiwan.
According to the sources, Modi Team is preparing to rename 30+ autonomous regions of Tibet. Its believed that this is a retaliation to China’s renaming of various regions of Arunachal Pradesh state. Indian forces have prepared the list of important regions of Tibet to be renamed and its expected that it will be in public domain after Modi 3.0 sworn-in.
Xi Jinping did not congratulate Prime Minister Modi
China reacted strongly on it . In view of PM Modi’s response to Taiwanese President Lai Ching-te, Chinese foreign office spokesperson Mao Ning stated that there is only “One-China” in the world. India is seriously responsible towards this policy and that it should beware about Taiwanese conspiracies and abstain from any such acts which is contrary to it. Approximately all the world leaders have congratulated PM Modi on beginning of his 3rd term but Xi Jinping hasn’t.
Research behind Renaming
China calls Arunachal Pradesh as “Zàngnán” or “South Tibet” as per its pseudo campaigns. Now India has researched more than 30 Tibet cities, rivers, mountains, lakes, passes and plains with the help of top research institute like Kolkata’s British-era Asiatic Society. Marked regions’ ancient names are prepared in Indian languages which have historical records. The list would be soon publicized on global arena with a goal of getting attention of the world community on Tibet issues.
Land Survey
India plans to present on-ground reports to back its claim. The Army had organized various media tours in these regions in past few weeks. Reporters talked with locals and found that the natives strongly oppose Chinese occupation of land saying that they had always been a part of India. So, Modi government plans to build such a narrative which is supported with strong historical research and local voices.
